| Question | Verified answer |
|---|---|
| Where is the current demo? | Use the official Steam demo. The developer labels the itch.io build as outdated. |
| Does it work on Steam Deck? | The developer’s Steam launch FAQ says Project P.I.T.T. is Steam Deck Verified. |
| What platforms does the old itch.io demo cover? | The developer page lists Windows, macOS, and Linux, but it is an older demo and should not be used as the current-build reference. |
| Is controller support confirmed? | The developer documented full controller/gamepad support for demo 0.2.8. A separate current-retail controller flag was not located, so this page does not extend that demo claim to every controller on the full game. |
Demo and save boundary
The current Steam demo stays available according to the launch FAQ. The itch.io page is historical, and no post-launch developer guarantee was found that every old demo save transfers to the retail build. Back up a save before testing migration.
Evidence: official Steam launch FAQ, developer itch.io demo page, and developer demo 0.2.8 log.
