Quick answer

v1.0.5 adds Panel Rack, Clear Items, a quit confirmation with Save and Quit, a flat-placement rotation shortcut, broader input rebinding, tool and spawn fixes, key-item recovery, and more flexible physical-button controls.

Official changes and practical impact

Official changeWhat it changes for players
Panel Rack upgrade with multiple levelsCarry more than one panel; building and rebuilding large lines requires fewer trips.
Clear Items button in pause menuRecover from dangerous loose-product counts. Cleared items do not refund money.
Quit confirmation and Save and QuitExiting is less ambiguous and can preserve progress through an explicit option.
Double-tap reset rotation to place flatReduces friction when aligning panels horizontally.
Expanded action rebinding, including scroll directionsPlayers can fix conflicts that previously appeared invisible or impossible to change.
Torch and UV Lamp collection/activation fixesThey work when collected; T remains the default activation key.
Spawn-loop and blocked-tube fixesFewer cases of repeatedly falling or being trapped by tool piles.
Key-item and ore recoveryStuck key items respawn; affected ores can be added directly to the bank.
Physical buttons respond to F, E, and LMBMore consistent interaction across nearby controls.

Building changes

On v1.0.5, use Clear Items to reset a failed layout and double-tap reset rotation to place panels flat. The Panel Rack reduces trips while building, but it does not change a layout’s geometry.

Advice that changed

  • Use Clear Items before dismantling a clogged layout.
  • Choose Save and Quit when you need to preserve progress before exiting.
  • Check the expanded rebinding menu if a tool input no longer matches an older guide.
  • Treat key-item softlock advice written before Aug 22 as outdated.
  • Ignore Phase 3 instructions that depend on the destructive event removed on Aug 20.

Hotfix note

The developer also reported a small follow-up hotfix for erratic Panel Rack behavior, missing ores, and pickaxe issues. Treat screenshots or bug reports from the first 1.0.5 hours cautiously.
